The Bridge Trust

The Bridge Trust works to provide a bridge from homelessness for single homeless people in West Kent.  Areas of work include Supported Shared Accommodation, Advice Centre and Mediation service.  They also have Outreach Street Teams in Tunbridge Wells who provide food and company to rough sleepers and the lonely, four times a week. Fundraising is carried out through charity shops in Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells and a furniture warehouse.

Opportunities:

Volunteers are needed as assistants for the charity shops, dealing with the public and displaying goods.  Also for the furniture warehouse, particularly if you hold a driving licence and are physically fit.  Organisers for fundraising events in their local area would be welcomed as well!
